Jerry Plumlee
COO
Jerry Plumlee is Chief Operating Officer for Fruition Communities. In his role, Jerry is responsible for the firm’s market presence of factory-built homes and implementing community initiatives to increase the market value of Fruition homes.
Jerry’s illustrious career spans 40 years in the manufactured housing industry, covering roles in product design, sales, financing, and market research.
Most recently, Plumlee served as general manager at Mobile Community Management where he directed refurbishment and preparation for sales where he recorded over 500 home sales across 17 parks. He also implemented initiatives such as dealer license program, credit review of park financed homes, oversight of sales managers and agents, and oversight of inventory control department.
Prior to that, Plumlee served as general manager of Nutrend Homes, where he spearheaded management operations of land and home projects within residential parks. He also established new and nurtured existing relationships with clients to expand product reach and reputation.
Jerry started his career in market research and retail sales. He spent over 20 years focused on the financing of manufactured housing before going back into sales and operations management roles during the past 15 years. Throughout his career Jerry consistently delivered double digit sales targets while simultaneously keeping costs down and constantly striving for new ways of achieving operational efficiency. Jerry has a breadth and depth of expertise that is unmatched in the industry.
Throughout his career Plumlee served on numerous boards and associations including Boards of California Manufactured Home Institute, Texas Manufactured Housing Association, Trade Association: Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Arizona and California Dealer License and California Sales License.
Jerry graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Administration.
